Carmen in Albaicín

This project brings new life to a traditional carmen in the heart of the Albaicín, Granada’s historic hillside neighborhood. Respecting its original soul, the interior design preserves the essence of Andalusian architecture: a central patio filled with light, the quiet murmur of water, and lush vegetation that softens every corner.

The space is curated with a careful balance of antique furniture, local craftsmanship, and art pieces, creating a home that feels both lived-in and timeless. Natural textures—ceramic, wood, linen—coexist with the building’s original features, inviting stillness and reflection. The result is an atmosphere of calm and quiet heritage, where each object carries memory, and every room opens to the landscape and light of southern Spain.
